The Khwai River at Moremi is part of the Okavango's
complex delta system, with the Lodge standing on the
banks surrounded by nature and the calls of the
wild.
Location
Khwai River Lodge is one of the oldest
Botswana safari lodges. It is located 8 kms
northwest of the north gate of the Moremi
Wildlife Reserve. The camp is set under a
canopy of aged indigenous Leadwood and Fig
trees, overlooking the Khwai River flood
plain.

Hippo, Elephant and other big game animals
can be seen from the lodge and grounds, all
other species that occur in this area can be
spotted and observed during the game drives

Facilities
You will be accommodated in one of the 15
luxury twin-bedded thatch and brick
bungalows, en-suite, with your own viewing
platform overlooking the Khwai River. The
central complex, where the swimming pool is
located, comprises of an under-cover room, a
lounge area with a cosy fireplace and a
library with VHS and monitor multisystem
equipment, slide projector and screen.
Additional Information
Morning and afternoon game-drives in open
landcruisers or guided walks, after-dark
spotlight gamedrives and cultural visits to
a local village are all inclusive. A company
environmental manager, private guides and
vehicles, specialised guides and speakers,
game flights on a fixed wing aircraft and
helicopter are all available on request. If
