Location
Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean about 800km
east of Madagascar and 2,000 km off the nearest
point of the African mainland. The Oberoi, Mauritius
lies along the Baie aux Tortues or Turtle Bay on the
island's curvaceous north-west Coast in over 20
acres of beautiful, subtropical gardens and with an
impressive 600 metres of beachfront spanning three
crescents of white sand between the mountains and
the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. The hotel
is 15 km away from the capital city of Port Louis
and near the buzzing small town of Grand Baie.

All bookings must be guaranteed at time of
reservation by Credit Card or Travel Agency. All
major credit cards are accepted. Cancellation Policy
Reservation must be cancelled 30 days prior to the
planned date of arrival. One night's stay will be
levied for cancellations received upto 8 days prior
to arrival. Full stay will be levied for
cancellations received within 7 days prior to
arrival.
For cancellations of a reservation for the room
categories Luxury Pavilion, Luxury Villa and Luxury
Villa with Private Pool, a cancellation charge
equivalent to one night's accommodation applies for
cancellations within 7 days prior to arrival. For
"No-Shows" a cancellation charge of up to 3 nights
applies.
By air
Mauritius is served by the Sir Sewoosagar Ramgoolam
International Airport, named after the former Prime
Minister who is acknowledged as the Father of the
Nation. The airport is a 55 minute drive from the
hotel. Mauritius is well connected to international
cities with daily flights operated by Air Mauritius
and other leading airlines including Air France,
British Airways and Emirates Airlines.
Arrival and Departure Policy Check-In - 1400 Hours
Early arrival is subject to availability. For
guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be
made starting from the previous night. Check-Out -
1200 Hours Later check-outs are available on request
and subject to availability
Child Policy
A child under 12 years of age can stay in the
parents room without being charged
An infant (up to 2 yrs) and a child below 12 Yrs can
stay in the same room. A cot and a child's bed to be
provided at no extra charge
For two children between 3 and 12 years of age, a
separate room will be allocated at a 50% discount on
the parents' applicable room rate
For a child between 12 and 16 years of age, a
separate room will be allocated at a 50% discount on
the parents' applicable room rate

The restaurant at the Oberoi, Mauritius features a
