When Count von Schwerin commissioned castle
Heinitzburg for his fiance, Margarethe von
Heinitz in 1914, love was his inspiration,
elegance was his achievement. We have
preserved and complimented his vision to
combine comfort with luxurious charm. The
Raith family name has long been associated
with tradition of excellence in hospitality
and exquisite cuisine. Location: Namibia
Windhoek is the capital of Namibia and has
approximately 180 000 inhabitants and is
1650 m above sea level. For most Visitors
Windhoek is the entrance point to Namibia's
numerous and varied attractions. Yet
Windhoek should not merely be regarded as an
arrival point and transit station because
the city and its surroundings have much to
offer. The city is sheltered by the Auas
Mountains to the south, the Eros Mountains
to the North and the Khomas Hochland to the
west. Due to the height above sea level the
climate is very pleasant.

Along with a superb view over the city and
the surrounding mountains, meals, coffee and
cakes from our patisserie are served
throughout the day.
Snacks and sundowner cocktails are also
served on this viewpoint with marvelous
vistas of spectacular sunsets. Knight's Room
This exclusive venue is situated in the
original castle and features authentic
historical artwork.
